Martinson, Moa (1890–1964),
writer, Sweden.
Helga Maria Martinson, more known as Moa, was born in 1890
in Vårdnäs in Östergötland and died in 1964. She wrote novels and
articles in social democratic newspapers. From 1929 to 1940 she was
married to poet Harry Martinson. Her
books often picture women's role in rural Sweden.
